/Working towards my herbalism certification is one of the most awe inspiring, grounding and supportive endeavors I have chosen in my healing journey and it fills me daily with the reminder that, as modern creatures we have come to believe and experience ourselves as separate and even above the rest of our earthly ecosystem - yet this is precisely a huge cause of our physical, emotional and spiritual distress. We do not exist as isolated superiors to the land that we belong to - we actually are intrinsically OF it - moreover we are deeply sensory beings and there is a vast intelligence within us to be activated thru that aspect of ourselves. It is through engagement, communion and respect towards/with the natural world around us that our multi-dimensional and natural wellness can be restored - and we can finally return to a sense of wonderment, rather than apprehension towards our existence.
