Lifting our vibration.
/Pause. Take a deep breath… Pause… exhale
Sometimes we’ve been hurt so bad and so deeply that opening our hearts again to hope feels incredibly painful and terrifying. Without realizing it, as a way of protecting ourselves from the pain of more unforeseen heartache, we begin to believe that there will always be something wrong with everything we do or everything that comes our way. Trouble is, this creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The fact of the mater is, you have to lift your your own vibration make more of the same.
Yes surprises will come our way. Yes we will be confronted again and again by the vulnerability of our life and work. But our resilience lies not in our cynicism but rather in our capacity to go through it all and still forgive, still care, still grow smarter and more skilled, still invest in belief, still invest in joy, still accept the inherently entropic nature of reality and the clumsiness of humanity.
There are days that we will be tempted to resent, blame and look down on this world and our fellow inhabitants of this planet. But try not to. Try to let it go, dust yourself off, and realize we are all carrying some form of delusion here, and delusion creates suffering.
The Buddhist say we are all pitiful. Life on this planet is laced with both beauty and pain. We have lessons to learn and karmas to burn. No one on this planet landed here on accident. Everyone here is paying some leftover bill. The way to pay your bill is to be humble, soft, and accept your lot while you hold to your own beauty and dignity through it all.
Moving our bodies through yoga, conscious breath-work, and having a few moments with no other agenda other than to breathe some compassion into the grief and pain of our own hearts is how we begin to heal the wounds and become capable of believing in the good things coming. Yoga is a proven formula to shift your state, release anger, anxiety, grief, resentments - and open up so that the flow of Grace can work its way into your body, heart spirit, life.
Cynicism is contagious.
So is hope.
Believe in healing.
Believe in the good things coming.
This is how you make them come.
in joy!,
Natasha
